*Dinner on Sunday, 16th August is optional and will be at your own cost.
**Accommodation (single room with Wi-Fi & breakfast) @ B&B HOTEL Ludwigshafen (Bahnhofstraße 1a, 67059 Ludwigshafen am Rhein) is included in the participation fee and will be partially covered by YoungFluidSeps. All the extra charges and services (e.g., parking, minibar, incidentals on the room, etc…) are at your own expense. Please note that your credit card details will be asked at check-in as a guarantee.
Check-in from 15:00 on 16th August | Check-out by 12:00 on 17th August
Parking is available in the Rhein-Galerie multi-storey car park, opposite the hotel, for 15.00 Euro / 24 hours. Parking will be at your own cost.
Transportation Options from Hotel to BASF***
- By Car: approx. 5 minutes from B&B HOTEL Ludwigshafen to BASF SE D105 Empfangsstelle.
If you are coming by car, please let us know. You will get a QR code for the visitors parking lot on the other side of the street.
- By Public Transport: approx. 10 minutes with RNV 6 from “Ludwigshafen, Ludwigstraße” to “Ludwigshafen, BASF (Tor 1+2)”
***Transportation is at your own cost.
Field Trip Requirements
- Bring your valid ID/passport
- Follow the instructions regarding safety (further information will be provided shortly before the event)
- Closed footwear is mandatory
- A credit card for event registration and hotel guarantees is required
Additional Notes
- Participation fee: 60,00 Euro
- Registration deadline: 24th July 2026
- Registration is binding. If you cannot attend, please inform us before the deadline at:
Cancellations after the deadline are non-refundable
- Maximum of 19 participants on a “first come, first served” basis. Additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list
- Taking pictures/videos at the site is not permitted
- Participation in the “YoungFluidSeps Field Trip 2026” is at your own risk and responsibility
Privacy
- Photos may be taken during the event and published on the DECHEMA and BASF websites/social media. If you would prefer not to appear in them, please inform us at the beginning of the activities
- You accept that your registration data will be shared with DECHEMA and BASF for organisational and statistical purposes
