Abstract text Ozonation is a well-known and widely applied advanced oxidation process (AOP) for industrial wastewater pretreatment. In this study, the phenol production wastewater was pre-treated with microbubble-catalytic ozonation process followed by anaerobic and aerobic biodegradation processes. The performance of the combined system in terms of organic removal was evaluated.
