Abstract text This study explored the distribution property of reverse osmosis (RO) membrane fouling along feed channel of a full-scale plant for municipal wastewater reclamation. Different types of fouling mainly happened at different locations the of a two-stage RO system. The lead-element suffered severe organic fouling and biofouling, while the tail-element suffered severe inorganic fouling.
