Abstract text Jar testing is widely used for removal of organics in drinking water treatment. With reuse as the final goal for the treated wastewater, removing as many organics and inorganics from the water is key. There are detectable concentrations of pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) being observed in surface water so finding a cheaper alternative to remove PPCPs is the goal.
